Service Description
Tastries Bakery offers Wedding Cake Tastings and Design Consultations by appointment to help engaged couples select flavors, refine their vision, and design a custom wedding cake or dessert bar that reflects their love story. Each consultation is thoughtfully led by Cathy and includes a prayerful written blessing to be incorporated into your cake design - marking your first act together as husband and wife at the cake-cutting moment. Policies
Eligibility & Participation - Wedding cake tastings are available by appointment only - To participate, couples must review the Tastries Wedding Packet online and register online for a Tasting & Consultation - Cake tastings and design consultations are conducted with the bride and groom together, as reflected throughout the Wedding Packet’s explanation of marriage, ritual, and ceremony Wedding Packet Acknowledgment - Scheduling a cake tasting constitutes acknowledgment that the Wedding Packet has been reviewed and understood What to Expect - Detailed design work to include all aspects of the theme, color and elements of the wedding ceremony and reception - Explanation of Tastries’ symbolic design elements, including intentional placement of the cake-cutting design consistent with the overall cake design and the prayerful symbolism described in the Wedding Packet - Curated tasting of several cake flavors and several filling flavors - Tastings are intended for flavor selection only - Clarification of what designs Tastries can and cannot create - All custom wedding cakes must align with the meaning, purpose, and symbolism outlined in the Wedding Packet Scheduling, Fees & Appointment Confirmation - Cake tastings must be scheduled online - Payment of the cake tasting fee confirms the appointment - Appointments are not reserved until payment is received - Late or missed appointments may require rescheduling Order Acceptance - Participation in a cake tasting or design consultation does not guarantee acceptance of a custom wedding cake order - All orders are subject to final review - Tastries may: accept the order, suggest design modifications, or decline a specific custom design while offering alternatives consistent with Design Standards - Decisions are based on design content and symbolism, not on the personal characteristics of the couple Customer Conduct - Tastings and consultations must be conducted respectfully - Harassment, threats, or abusive behavior will result in termination of the appointment - The safety and well-being of employees and guests is a priority
